Anti-fascist writer attacked in Moscow
by MOSCOW (JTA) -- Valentin Oskotsky, a literary critic and anti-fascist activist, was assaulted near his Moscow home last week., The incident took place on the site where Oskotsky, the editor-in-chief of the Moscow writers' weekly newspaper, Literaturnaya G

Oskotsky, a liberal intellectual, believes there is a connection between the two attacks.
He and a group of his colleagues are currently suing the author of the anti-Semitic pamphlet "Dictionary of Masons," who has called Oskotsky and some other Russian intellectuals "secret criminals."
