This find of gas is amazing!
I hope Ofer Nimrodi (who is invested in this project) will find a few more of these gas fields, and will help Israel become independent from oil!

A natural gas field discovered in Israel’s territorial waters contains an estimated 16 trillion cubic feet of the natural resource, the world’s biggest deepwater gas find in a decade.
Electrical log tests confirmed the size of the natural gas field, which was discovered in drilling last year off the Mediterranean coast near Haifa and dubbed Leviathan, after the biblical sea monster. Noble Energy announced the results of the tests Dec. 29.
Leviathan is almost double the size of the Tamar field, which was discovered off Israel’s Mediterranean coast in 2009.
“This discovery has the potential to position Israel as a natural gas exporting nation,” said David L. Stover, president of Noble Energy.
The field is said to be the largest discovery in the history of the Houston-based company, which has a controlling interest in the field. — jta
