Talk-show host Larry King will host the 30th anniversary of Chabad’s “To Life!” telethon, broadcast live from Hollywood. Scheduled guests include Jon Voight, James Caan, Elliot Gould, Howie Mandel, Lou Gossett Jr., Martin Sheen, Ed Begley Jr. and Bob Saget.

The show will be broadcast from 8 to 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29. Locally, KTSF Channel 26 will air the event.

The telethon supports Chabad’s network of over 200 community outreach centers and a range of programs providing social services to the needy and support for children with special needs. Last year’s broadcast generated more than $7 million.

The telethon is co-chaired by producer Jerry Weintraub and attorney Marshall Grossman.

DirecTV will carry the telethon on Jewish Life Television, and ToLife.com will stream the event live.
