Taube Koret Campus in Palo Alto wins architecture award

The Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto is one of 17 residential projects to be recognized by the American Institute of Architects, East Bay, for the 2010 Exceptional Residential Bay Area Regional Design Awards.
Conger Moss Guillard, a San Francisco–based landscape architecture firm, teamed with Steinberg Architects of San Francisco and San Jose on the design of the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life. The 8.5-acre parcel features a 193-unit residential care community integrated with educational, fitness, health and wellness, cultural and community services, all anchored by the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center.
Jury comments called the campus a “multigenerational, multiuse model for the future,” with “buildings [that] have an interesting interplay with the outdoor spaces.”
