Two Iranian Red Crescent ships are setting their sights on Gaza.
The ships, which will carry food, medical aid and volunteer medical personnel, may already be on their way, according to some news reports. The Iranians do not want to disclose the flotilla’s schedule.
More than 100,000 Iranians reportedly volunteered for the trip. The Red Crescent said it also would send 30 tons of medical equipment by plane to Egypt to be transferred to Gaza. — jta

Here we see how mendacious and dishonest the protests against the embargo of Gaza really are. If there was any real intent to benefit the people of Gaza, rather than to wage propaganda war against Israel, the humanitarian aid could be taken directly by ship to Ashdod for inspection and delivery by truck to Gaza.
And now we see that the goods could as easily be shipped to Egypt for inspection and delivery by truck to Gaza.
So the reason given for the attempt to run the blockade, sympathy for the plight of the people of Gaza, is seen to be simply a flat out lie.
