The Progressive Jewish Alliance is looking for its next cohort of Jeremiah Fellows.

A nine-month program for Jews in their 20s and early 30s, the PJA program focuses on leadership development, community organizing and Jewish social justice values, all while providing a progressive Jewish context and a place for participants to express their activism.

Fellows meet on two weekday evenings per month, and there are several weekend field experiences and two weekend retreats. The program culminates with the Jeremiah Challenge, a self-directed and community-based action project.

The Jeremiah Fellowship begins in September and runs through June 2011.

Applications are due June 30 and are available online at www.jeremiahfellowship.org
