The S.F.-based Jewish Vocational Service, in conjunction with Temple Isaiah in Lafayette, will offer two workshops through the Reform synagogue’s Employment and Resource Network.
On June 17, Congregation Netivot Shalom, 1316 University Ave., Berkeley, will host “Tell Your Story: Mastering Behavioral Interviews.” The two-hour session, which begins at 10 a.m., is designed to expose participants to a variety of behavioral questions and the methods to prepare and craft responses.
From 7 to 9 p.m. June 28, Congregation B’nai Tikvah, 25 Hillcroft Way, Walnut Creek, will hold an interview workshop to familiarize participants with the different types of job interviews, questions and tips for preparation and performance.
Co-sponsored by several local synagogues, both workshops are free of charge and will be facilitated by JVS employment specialists. Space is limited. For more information and to register, visit http://www.jvs.org/calendar.php.
