Fowl play returns to Los Gatos June 13, when Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley hosts the third annual Silicon Valley Duck Race and Family Festival. Organizers are looking to raise as much as $100,000 for 14 charities and organizations that JFS funds.

The festival at Vasona Lake County Park will feature carnival games, bounce houses, a San Jose Earthquakes’ soccer clinic, arts and crafts for children and food concessions. In the main event, up to 15,000 rubber ducks, each sponsored by supporters of JFS, will be put in the lake for a race to the finish line.

Beneficiaries of the day’s fundraising include the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center Preschool, Yavneh Day School, the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of the Valley and the Youth Science Institution.

The festival begins at 10 a.m., with a preliminary heat starting at 11:30 a.m.
