The Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto is hosting a free open house — summer safety and fun day — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23.

During the event, adults will have free use of the Goldman Sports and Wellness Complex, with complimentary chair massages being offered. They also can view a Zumba party-workout (a rhythmic fitness program) featuring live drummers.

For children, there will be face painting, bounce houses, an ice cream truck and carnival games. There will also be a bicycle and helmet safety check, along with a meet-and-greet with the Palo Alto Fire Department.

The event also will include pet adoptions with Doggie Protective Services.

The open house is at 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Parking and admission are free. For more information, visit http://www.paloaltojcc.org.
