Israeli candy firm signs sweet deal

An Israeli candy company has signed a contract with Wal-Mart to make chocolate coins for Christmas.

Carmit Candy Industries has received an order for Christmas 2010 for $500,000, the Israeli business daily Globes reported.

Carmit had sales of $8 million in the United States in 2009. — jta
