Vandals last week defaced two Castro District bus shelter posters promoting “Out in Israel,” a monthlong festival in San Francisco celebrating Israeli LGBT culture. Though the Consulate General of Israel, which organized the festival, had the ad firm replace the posters, vandals returned to damage the posters several times. “Out in Israel” events continue through April.
