The JCC of the East Bay’s Early Childhood Education Program is launching a Bridge-K program for 5-year-olds who could benefit from a year of enrichment before entering kindergarten.

The Reggio Emilia–inspired program is specifically for children with late-fall birthdays or for those who need more time to develop their social and emotional skills through play-based learning. Children will attend Bridge-K from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, with before- and after-care available.

An open house will held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 at the JCC of the East Bay, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. For information, contact Ruth Petersen Shorer at [email protected] or (510) 848-0237 ext. 122.
