All by your lonesome this Passover? Fear not.

Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco and the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto are organizing Passover seder matches for individuals or couples looking to celebrate the holiday with a community.

Congregation Emanu-El for the first time is matching young adults with other young adults instead of having a first night young adult seder at the synagogue. (Emanu-El will have a community seder on the second night of Passover, March 30.)

Emanu-El is looking for volunteers to host guests. Seder guests will be matched, as best as possible, to a seder that fits their needs.

Volunteers and guests must apply

by March 19; contact Mike Amerikaner at [email protected].

The Oshman Family JCC also is looking for guests who would like to join a seder and for volunteer hosts who are willing to include one or more guests at their seder. To get involved, contact Jane-Rachel Schonbrun no later than March 22; call (650) 223-8602 or e-mail [email protected].
