San Francisco's Parents Place will begin several new workshops in May

Parents Place offers several workshops this month including Finding Quality Child Care at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at a cost of $15 per person, $25 per couple.

Biological Clock will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, May 12 and 19. Cost is $30.

Raising a Spirited Child will convene during the identical times at $30 per person or $50 per couple.

Parenting Terrific Twos will run at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22 through June 5 at $45 per person, $60 per couple for three sessions.

JCC of S.F. presents Ashland theater trips

The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco plans two tours to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland June 25 to 30 and Sept. 24 to 28.

Participants will stay at Southern Oregon State College and see seven plays, including four by Shakespeare. For information call tour leader Toni Mester at (415) 292-1240.
