South Bay Shorts Breast cancer forum is slated in Hillsborough March 27

The three panelists will provide information and answer questions on a range of issues - from conducting a self-examination to learning the breast-cancer risks for Jewish women who live in the Bay Area and are of Ashkenazic descent.

Young Judaea starts clubs in Palo Alto

Young Judea, sponsored by Hadassah, will start two new clubs Sunday, March 30 at Albert L Schultz Jewish Community Center, 655 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.

Grades three through seven will meet at 1:30 p.m., grades eight through 12 at 12:30 p.m. For information, call (510) 549-0260.

South Bay women to honor volunteers

Volunteers representing a variety of Jewish organizations in the South Bay will be honored at a 6:30 p.m. Connections '97 dinner Thursday, March 27 at San Jose's Fairmont Hotel.
