‘Missing Valentines’ workshop for mourners

The Bay Area Jewish Healing Center is sponsoring a Jewish spirituality mini-retreat for people whose partners have died.

The retreat, “Missing Valentines,” takes place 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Institute on Aging, 3330 Geary Blvd., San Francisco. The seminar costs $36 (with a sliding scale available).

Participants will be given tools to cope with holidays such as Valentine’s Day, so that even in mourning they can refresh their hearts and minds throughout the year.
