‘Cosmopolitans’ author at two events

Historian Fred Rosenbaum, author of “Cosmopolitans: A Social and Cultural History of the Jews of the San Francisco Bay Area,” will make a pair of local public appearances this month.
Rosenbaum will talk about his new book 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Book Passage, located in the San Francisco Ferry Building. For more information, call (415) 835-1020.
