Maurice I. Beitchman
In Kansas City, Missouri on Jan. 7, 2010 at age 96. Beloved husband of the late Eva Beitchman, loving father of Al S. and Barbara Beitchman of Leawood, Kansas. Devoted grandfather of three. Adored great-grandfather of six. Dear Uncle. He was a 60-year member of the Masonic Order. Services were held at Eternal Home Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Maurice to any hospice preferred.

Esther Carol Fagin
Age 75, born Sept. 5, 1934, passed away Jan. 7, 2010 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She participated in the Children’s Drama Service for many years. She loved to garden, read, knit, travel and spend time with her family and friends. Esther is survived by her loving children, Debra Kaufman, Donna Barnett and Doug Fagin, daughter-in-law Betsy Fagin, son-in-law Alan Barnett, grandchildren Aaron, Rachel, Danny, Adam, Autumn, Megan, Stephanie and great-grandchild Cody.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Women’s Council Drama Service or Pathways Hospice.

Rachel “Rae” Kay passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2010. She is survived by her husband Wilfred “Bill” Kay, daughter Rena Kay and her husband Joe Hiney, grandsons Eric and Kevin Kay, granddaughter Elena Kay and many dear friends.
The family thanks the Hospice by the Bay staff for their kind and dedicated service.
Rachel is a San Francisco native, though was raised in Chicago. She returned to San Francisco in 1953 and has lived in San Rafael since 1963. Rachel will be remembered as a wonderful wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, loyal friend and beautiful dancer.
A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held later this month. Donations may be made to Hospice by the Bay, Congregation Rodef Sholom or American Cancer Society.
