The Bay Area Jewish Healing Center and Sinai Memorial Chapel recently formed an official partnership to provide grief care services to the community.

The new alliance will be called Grief and Growing: Next Steps for Mourners. It will provide grief aftercare to those who use Sinai for their funeral and burial needs.

Plans are under way to form a joint committee comprised of representatives of each agency to provide support and advocacy.

This is not the first collaboration for the two organizations. Sinai Memorial Chapel and the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center have worked together for many years, including on the development of and programming for Grief and Growing bereavement weekends at Camp Tawonga.
