The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center will toast the Roaring Twenties with the Hush-Hush Club, a speakeasy-style fundraiser, at 7 p.m. May 9.

The event will benefit the JCC’s early childhood education programs, and will honor longtime teacher Tessa Cherniss for her 18 years at the JCC.

In fitting with its name, the Hush-Hush Club will require attendees to enter from the side of the building and provide a password upon entrance. The event will feature hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a silent and live auction, music and swing dance lessons.

Tickets are $75. The JCC is at 200 N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to http://www.marinjcc.org or call Laurie Kimball at (415) 516-9311.
