‘Lemon Tree’ comes to Sonoma Film Festival

The Israeli film “Lemon Tree” will be screened at the Sonoma International Film Festival, which runs April 1 to 5.

Directed by Eran Riklis, “Lemon Tree” tells the story of a West Bank Palestinian woman who faces the loss of her family lemon trees due to Israeli security concerns. She finds a lawyer to represent her as she fights for her livelihood.

“Lemon Tree” screens Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, at the Sebastiani Theatre, 476 First Street East, Sonoma. For information, call (415) 933-2600 or http://www.sonomafilmfest.org.
