Jessamyn Leigh Miller and Ean Lane Kryska celebrated their marriage on August 31, 2008 in the Great Hall of Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies in Chicago, Illinois. Officiating was long-time family friend, Rabbi Lester Frazin.
Natasha Miller, the bride’s sister, was Maid of Honor and Brett Kryska, the groom’s brother, was Best Man. David Miller, the bride’s brother, served as witness to the signing of the ketubah.
An especially significant blessing was the presence of Ben Kryska, the groom’s paternal grandfather (a Holocaust survivor), Dorothy Cooper, the groom’s maternal grandmother, and Anita Miller, the bride’s paternal grandmother.
Jessamyn is the daughter of Dr. Larry and Linda Silverberg Miller of Napa, CA. An alumnus of March of the Living, Camp Newman-Swig (counselor), and founding sister of Sigma AEPi at UC Santa Cruz, the bride is a 2002 graduate of Napa High School, a 2006 graduate of UC Santa Cruz and a 2008 graduate of The Art Institute of Chicago. She is the Program Manager for the Unity Temple Restoration Foundation in Oak Park, Illinois.
Ean is the son of Jerry and Marla Kryska of Deer Park, Illinois. He received a BA in political science from the University of Illinois, Champaign, in 2002, and a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005. He is an associate in a Chicago-area law firm.
They are making their home in the South Loop area of Chicago.
