Planning a Jewish wedding but not sure how to make the affair haimish and eco-friendly?

The environment committee at Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco recently created a brochure with tips, referrals and Web resources for making any simcha environmentally sound.

The 12 tips include how to reduce waste, consume less water, serve local food and measure the ecological footprint of your Jewish celebration.

Emanu-El's environment committee encourages environmental awareness within the congregation and among the greater Jewish community.
