URJ hosting Kallah in Southern California

Follow j. on   and

This summer, California Polytechnic State University in Pomona will be ringing with the sounds of singing, prayer and teaching as the Union of Reform Judaism brings its annual Kallah to the campus.

From Aug. 1-5, Reform Jews from across North America will join Kallah to study, pray, sing and learn with Kallah faculty, made up of over a dozen rabbis and scholars, including Rabbi Melanie Aron of Congregation Shir Hadash in Los Gatos. This year's Kallah will focus on the teachings of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel.

For more information or to register for Kallah, visit http://www.urj.org/educate/kallah.
