Anniversary

On June 24, 2006, George and Sylvia Prozan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by their family and friends. They met in New York City and were married a short time later in Cleveland, Ohio. Their life together spans numerous cities, approximately six states, and visits to countless countries as they have enjoyed traveling the world since their retirement. They have lived in their home in Hillsborough, CA since 1966. A graduate of Columbia University, George went on to earn a medical degree and subsequently spent more than 30 years as a practicing cardiologist. Sylvia attended Barnard College, just across the street from Columbia, and garnered a master's in history from Case Western Reserve as well as a law degree from the University of California, Boalt Hall Law School. Her career includes time as a weather reporter, newscaster and an attorney. They have four children. The oldest, Michael, has his own law practice and has been married to Vicky Prozan for more than 10 years. Larry owns his own financial consulting firm, is married to Linda Drucker. Together, they have two children, Noah (7) and Nicole (3). Anne just joined in the Oakland School Unified District. She is married to Gilbert Pierre-Louis, and they have a newborn son, Marcel (6 months). Rebecca is an Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco and is partnered with Julia Adams. They plan to celebrate this remarkable achievement with an event in Napa Wine Country with members of the original wedding party, family and friends.
