Myrna Claire Jacobs passed away on May 17, 2006, in Millbrae surrounded by her family. Myrna was the beloved wife of Milton Jacobs, the cherished mother of Michael (Fhani), Steven (Cheryl) and Robert Jacobs, and the adored grandmother of Daniel, Yasmin and Maya Jacobs. Myrna was born in San Francisco. She graduated from S.F. State University with honors and became a kindergarten-primary teacher in the S.F. public school system. Myrna stopped teaching to raise her family and, when her sons became older, she returned to the workplace as an assistant in her husband's law office. More recently, she also served as the Administrator of several charitable foundations, which work she loved and continued to perform even during her illness. Myrna was a supporter of many worthy causes. One of her favorite activities was being part of the cast of the Children's Drama Service of the National Council of Jewish Women, putting on short musical productions at schools for disabled and special children. Myrna was a warm, wonderful, sincere, special person who always tried to see the good in everyone. But her story does not end here because she will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Family and friends were invited to attend a Memorial Service and celebration of Myrna's life at Peninsula Temple Sholom, 1655 Sebastian Drive, Burlingame, on Sunday, May 21st at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity in Myrna's memory would be appreciated.
