She is the granddaughter of Ardith and Howard Marguleas of Incline Village and Aline and Moshe Dar of Kibbutz Kfar Szold, Israel. Great-grandparents are the late Jessie and Louis Weiman and the late Belle and Joseph Marguleas.

Abby Esther Goldberg was born on March 22, 2006 to her proud parents, Rachel Samuels Goldberg and Jason Goldberg of New York City. She is the granddaughter of Rhoda and Peter Samuels of San Francisco and Diane and Jim Goldberg of Los Angeles. Her great grandparents are Hannah Samuels and Marilyn Colvin of San Francisco and Barbara Goldberg of Sacramento.
