Chabad House of Berkeley will hold a menorah lighting 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at Cody’s Books, 1730 Fourth St., Berkeley, with live music and balloons by Buki the Clown. Menorahs and candles will be available. (510) 540-5824.

Chabad Jewish Center of Sonoma will host two communitywide Chanukah celebrations with menorah lightings: 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at Oliver’s Market, 546 E. Cotati Ave., Cotati and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Coddingtown Mall, Santa Rosa. (707) 577-0277.

Chabad of Contra Costa will host “Chanukah at the Promenade” with Chanukah gifts and donuts 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at Broadway Plaza Shopping Center, Walnut Creek. Daily lightings through Saturday, Dec. 31. www.chabadcoco.com or (925) 937-4140.

Chabad of San Francisco will celebrate Bill Graham Menorah Day with live music and children’s activities 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25 at Union Square, S.F. There will be a lighting each night through Jan 1. www.chabadofsf.org or (415) 668-6178.

Chabad of Marin will hold a menorah lighting 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at Northgate Mall, San Rafael with live music by Klezmarin. (415) 492-1666.

Chabad of San Jose will host a menorah lighting 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25 at Paseo de San Antonio, San Jose. (408) 358-5530.

Chabad of Noe Valley will celebrate with a nine-foot menorah balloon as well as arts, crafts, music and treats 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at the corner of Noe and 24th streets, and again at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 in front of Liberty Café in Bernal Heights. (415) 821-7046.
