Is the Jewish left right for us?

The news media have recently criticized those Christians who support Israel, often referred to as "the Christian Right." The asinine notion that Jews must be hostile to anyone dubbed a right-wing Christian is outrageous.

Left-wing Jews and Christians make foolish statements all the time, yet the liberal media ignores them, because the media only broadcast what the editors want, as Bernard Goldberg's excellent books demonstrate.

Pat Robertson has been blasted for a foolish remark about Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez that was later retracted. Robertson was criticized also for expressing frustration at the forcible removal of Jews from Gaza, which creates the only legally "judenrein" (Nazi-speak for "clean of Jews") area on Planet Earth. On this point I agree with Robertson.

Winston Churchill said, "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile — hoping it will eat him last." There is no "alliance" between Jews and evangelical Christians as left-wing Jews claim. But this Jewish Republican and former U. S. naval officer believes there is absolutely no reason to alienate Christian supporters of Israel.

Having lived while F.D.R. and Harry Truman were presidents, and having strongly supported them, I know there is very little resemblance between them and Rep. Nancy Pelosi's radical, pro-homosexual, left-wing San Francisco "Democrats." Are Jewish "liberals" so insecure, so afraid of Christian proselytizing that they must denounce Robertson's faith?

I have been approached by Christians to convert a couple times. I just laugh, saying, perhaps, this Jew might convert only if a Crusader sword blade was menacing my throat or, maybe, if faced by a Nazi Christian German gas chamber. They smile ruefully and go away.

Incidentally, besides the crude Chavez remark, Robertson also said some years ago, "I believe a blessing has been ordained by God for those who bless Abraham and the descendants of Abraham." The Jewish left ignores the fact that there were Christian and Jewish towns all over the North Africa, and the entire Middle East, including Persia and Arabia, until the seventh century, when Arab Islamic armies conquered and converted millions with the dictate "convert or die."

Arab leaders know Arab history very well. That is why Egypt and Jordan did not proclaim a PLO Arab state in the West Bank and Gaza from 1948 to 1967, when they controlled these areas. The truth is that there has never been a separate Palestinian Arab state in all history.

Kuwait expelled all their 300,000 Palestinian Arab workers after they happily cooperated with Saddam Hussein's army to lead them to Kuwaiti hideouts. It is the left that forgets conveniently that today's Arab terrorism mimics the 12th- and 13th-century Islamic fanatics called "assassins." Appeasement did not work then either. Only the arrival of a merciless Mongol army destroyed the assassins' castles and all inhabitants, so that only a peaceful remnant of that particular murderous cult remains.

An excuse can be invented for Jewish "left liberals," that feckless white guilt permeates our society, spread by all the mainstream media, distorting so-called reporting, despite denials. Goldberg, who was for 28 years a CBS News correspondent, earning six Emmy awards, has revealed the many reasons why the American public distrusts the biased TV and print mainstream news media so very much.

His books "Bias" and "Arrogance" reveal, for example, how the real story of Erica Platt, a little kidnapped, but heroic, black girl was "reported." Just like Hollywood, often the elite media, the network news, refuse to report what the police knew. The TV newscasts then refused to report on the black drug-infested, criminal family she had, because social criticism is, in the media mind, reserved only for those with white skins. Remember how the media played the American Boy Scout's victory in the Supreme Court as a victory for narrow-minded bigots? Remember how the elite media deceived people by referring to "pedophile priests" instead of "gay priests" or "homosexual priests?"

This was done because GLAAD worked hard on the media to deflect criticism from the fact that "gay priests were molesting adolescent boys." Almost all Americans became aware by national publicity about the deplorable Wyoming murder by two "straights" of a homosexual 15-year-old. But the elite media (New York Times, Washington Post, L.A. Times and TV network newscasts) chose not to report anything about two horrible cases, one in Arkansas and the other in Connecticut, where two gay young men kidnapped, tortured, sodomized and murdered adolescent boys. One boy was about 10 years old, and the other about 13 years old.

The tight hold the small homosexual community has on Hollywood and the American media is shocking and disgusting. Today "liberal" rabbis are trying to bring similar disasters, like same-sex "marriage," into synagogues. It is time that honesty, fairness, i.e reporting both sides, return instead of the warped news that the public is offered.
