Suzy Klein, daughter of Marc and Sandra Klein of Alameda, and Josh Geyer, son of Sandy and Marsha Geyer of Nashua, New Hampshire, are excited to announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be received her bachelor's of arts dergee from Brandeis University and is currently pursuing a masters of arts in teaching. She is a third-grade teacher at Cohen Hillel Academy in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Her father is the editor and publisher of j. the Jewish news weekly.

Suzy's fiancé received a bachelor of arts from Brandeis. He works at Metro Boston Housing Partnership, a nonprofit low-income housing provider.

They were engaged earlier this month when Josh asked Suzy if he could play her a song on his guitar. He began to play "I know you well," popularized by Fountains of Wayne, which was the same song Josh put on the first mix CD he made for her. But she soon realized the words were different. The song was now about their relationship and ended with "I wanna marry you."

The couple is planning a June 2006 wedding in the Boston area.
