JVS expands services in South Peninsula
Jewish Vocational Services is expanding its programming in the South Peninsula, thanks to a grant from the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation.
The grant will go toward expanding JVS' Jewish Employment Network, developing programs and services for the Jewish community there and supporting the facilitators and career counselors who put on workshops. In addition, the grant will support an employment counselor who will work with an additional 100 job seekers this year.
The Jewish Employment Network will partner with the JCC and area synagogues to sponsor workshops similar to those that have taken place in San Francisco and the East Bay.
