Colvin, Doreen Greenfield. In Greenbrae, April 9. Age 77. Mother of Kimberly (and Bob) Quinn of Danville, Leslie (and Jed) Solomon of Menlo Park and Steven (and Cristina) Colvin of Novato. Grandmother of Danielle, Adam and Jeremy Quinn, Jacob and Sara Solomon and Olivia and Austin Colvin. Born in San Francisco. Moved to Marin in 1930. Graduated from Tamalpais High School in1946. Attended University of San Francisco. Danced for San Francisco Ballet. Modeled for City of Hope. Worked for C & H Sugar in San Francisco. Animal lover. Enjoyed travel. Donations in her honor to American Cancer Society of Marin, 25 Bellam Blvd. No. 150, San Rafael, CA 94901.

Heynick, Louis. In Palo Alto, April 6. Age 86. Died of lung cancer. Husband of Yetta Heynick. Son of Mitchell (and Nicole) Heynick and Carla (and Tom) Garrett. Grandfather of Aaron Garrett. Uncle to 10. Physicist at SRI. Longtime researcher of electromagnetic fields and radiation. Holder of a number of patents. Contributing editor to several scientific journals. Enjoyed science fiction, technology, folk dancing and music. Interment April 10 at Hills of Eternity in Colma. Services were held at Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills. Norman, David. In Palo Alto, April 4. Husband of Ava Norman for 54 years. Father of Jennifer (and Hal) Friedman, Ron (and Andrea) Norman, Robert (and Harla) Norman and Russell Norman. Grandfather of Andrew and Lisa Friedman and Rebecca, Anna and Sarah Norman. Brother of Doris (and Bruce) Miller of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Born July 30, 1925, in Detroit. Graduate of Oberlin College and Wayne State University. Engineer at Lockheed and Technicon. Enjoyed singing, gardening and swimming. Services were held at Eternal Home Cemetery in Colma under the direction of Cantor Kay Greenwald. Donations to The Parkinson Institute, 1170 Morse Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

Stoer, Leopold. In Napa, April 1. Age 97. Husband of Herta Schwarzbart Stoer. Uncle of Paul (and Sharalee) Schwarzbart. Great-uncle of David and Marc Schwarzbart. Son of the late Karoline and Alfred Stoer of Vienna, Austria. Father of two. Grandfather of three. Great-grandfather. Educated in Vienna. Received doctorate degree from the University of Wien. Later studied at Columbia University and San Francisco State University. Board certified as a diplomate in clinical psychology in 1966. Member of the American Psychological Association and the Western Psychological Association. Worked at Napa State Hospital from 1957 to 1974. Began as staff psychologist, later as senior psychologist and then director of special projects under NIMH grants. Program director of the Acute Psychiatric Program for Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. Retired in 1974. Private practice from 1957-1997. Consultant to local, state and federal agencies. Conducted psychological assessments for courts in Napa and neighboring counties. Published four papers and two monographs. Services were held at Tulocay Cemetery's Garden Columbarium in Napa. Donations to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
