A life interrupted

The Judah L. Magnes Museum, in coordination with the Holocaust Center of Northern California, will hold an exhibition entitled "A Voice Silenced."

The photo display at 2911 Russell St., Berkeley, reconstructs the lives of the Neumaiers, a German middle-class Jewish family, through family snapshots. It will be on display May 24 to Sept. 19.

Conceptual artist and photographer Diane Neumaier reprinted negatives taken by her father, John, when he was a Frankfurt teen.
