who’s in town: JNF chairman reaches out to Bay Area Israelis

Yehiel Leket, world chairman of Keren Kayemet L'Yisrael (the Jewish National Fund) was here last week to meet with Israelis living in the Bay Area.
The JNF received a grant to do outreach to Israelis living in the United States. In this campaign, called "Israelis for Israel," Leket spoke to Bay Area Israelis, along with those living in Los Angeles and New Jersey, in the hopes of getting them more involved in the work of JNF.
He also had a few private meetings with some American donors.
