Braver, Albert Elijah At home in Berkeley, Nov. 1. Age 85. Husband of Agi Braver, also known as Veronica Braver, for 30 years. Father of Deborah Braver, Lisa Braver Moss (and Mark Moss), Erica Braver Gleason and Margo Braver. Grandfather of Bradley Gleason, Evan and Reuben Moss and Jeremy Engels. Uncle of Stephen Marmer, Elisabeth Schlessinger and Richard Marmer. Brother-in-law of Clara Stroud and Peter and Teri Ashley. In-law of Clara Stroud's family. Native of Brooklyn. Berkeley resident for 60 years. Owned a record store and smoke shop at Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley in the 1950s and '60s. Later opened Magnum Opus, an imported basket store on College Avenue, where he worked with his wife. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Crowden School, 1475 Rose St., Berkeley.
