The nice thing about a yoga honeymoon is that you can enjoy the benefits long after you’ve returned home. Yoga moves can be practiced anywhere — even in front the TV during “Monday Night Football.”

A few basic props will make your joint practice a little easier. A sticky mat (or two), plus a strap and a pair of firm foam blocks will help with poses. These also help when there’s a height disparity between partners.

There are a few helpful books and videos for at-home yoga practices. Of course, you can always attend classes at a local yoga studio.

“Partner Yoga: Making Contact for Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Growth” (Rodale Press) is one of the best books available. Easy-to-follow photos show you how to safely practice the asanas à deux.

If you really want to commit to a yogic life as a couple, turn to “Jewel in the Lotus: The Tantric Path to Higher Consciousness: A Complete and Systematic Course in Tantric Kriya Yoga” (Sunstar Publishing Ltd.).
