Grandfather of Aaron and Julia Daniel. Brother of Jeanette (and Abe) Zeif and Colman (and Miriam) Daniel. Brother-in-law of Irwin Wenger. Uncle. Native San Franciscan. World War II veteran. Part owner and manager of the family business, Dan's Creamery. Worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance for 45 years, reaching the position of district manager. Fifty-year member of the Starr King Lodge F&AM and the Scottish Rite. Services were held at Sinai Memorial Chapel, S.F. Drabkin, Julius In San Francisco, Sept. 25. Husband of the late Judith Drabkin. Father of Michael and Victor Drabkin. Grandfather of six. Services were held at Sinai Memorial Chapel with interment at Eternal Home Cemetery, Colma.
Elgart, Ursula D. In San Francisco, Sept. 27. Age 83. Wife of the late Paul J. Elgart. Mother of Lonnie Zwerin Mainzer (and Frank Mainzer). Grandmother of Michael (and Raleigh) Zwerin and David and Kenneth Zwerin. Step-grandmother of Elliot Mainzer, Richard (and Aleah) Mainzer and Camille (and Reuben) Snyder. Great-grandmother of Max Zwerin. Step-great-grandmother of Hunter Mainzer. Born in Hamburg, Germany; fled to the United States at age 19. Burbank resident for 50 years before moving to San Francisco. Frank, Roy Marshall In San Francisco, Sept. 25. Age 86. Husband of Lynne Rubinchik Frank for 33 years. Father of Dr. Scott Randy Frank. Born Feb. 19, 1917 in Oakland. Raised in Fresno and came to San Francisco to attend the College of Physicians and Surgeons (now University of the Pacific School of Dentistry). Army captain with six years service in World War II in the Pacific theater. General dentist with practices in Pacifica and Bay View-Hunters Point. Upon retirement, he received a certificate of appreciation from the city and county of San Francisco for serving low-income and uninsured children of the Bay View-Hunters Point community. Served as president of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and remained a lifetime member. Charter member of the Doubles Chapter of City of Hope. Member of B'nai B'rith and Oddfellows. Member of Congregation Emanu-El for more than 60 years. Joined the Shalom Club and Jewish Social Club of Arizona, where he and Lynne owned a second home. Longtime member of Green Hills Golf and Country Club in Millbrae and Concordia Argonaut Club of San Francisco. Endowed a microbiology professorship with his wife and son at University of the Pacific Dental School. Private services were held at the Jewish Home. Donations to the Jewish Home, 302 Silver Ave., S.F., CA 94112 or the charity of your choice.
Scheinberg, Sara In San Francisco, Sept. 22. Age 94. Aunt of Ingrid Gelman, Charles Engelberg, Gordon and Harold Zolt and Regina Klarman. Graveside services were held at Home of Eternity Cemetery, Oakland, under the direction of Sinai Memorial Chapel.
