Hersh, Leroy In San Francisco, Sept. 16. Husband of Kay Holley. Father of Nancy Hersh Boyle (and Joe Boyle), Jill Hersh O'Connor (and John O'Connor), and Linda Hersh. Grandfather of Rebecca, Kate and Sarah Maeve Hersh-Boyle, and Elizabeth, Rosemary and Emmett Hersh-O'Connor. Former husband of Belle Hersh, the mother of his children. Brother-in-law of James Holley. Stepfather of Robert Dickerson. Step-grandfather of Andrew Dickerson. Born April 11, 1920 in San Francisco. Longtime resident of San Francisco. Trial lawyer. The youngest of three sons of David and Estelle Hersh. A graduate of Lowell High School in 1938, he chaired his 65th-year reunion in June. In 1937 he and three childhood friends crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on its opening day, in the first car after the dignitaries. Enlisted in the Naval Reserves in 1940, and served in the South Pacific and San Francisco during World War II. After the war, he operated a bakery and doughnut business until he went to law school. Past president of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers' Association, the Lawyers' Club of San Francisco and the California Trial Lawyers' Association. Services were held at Congregation Sherith Israel, the synagogue where he celebrated his bar mitzvah 70 years ago. Arrangements by Sinai Memorial Chapel. Lieberman, Barbara A. In Palo Alto, Sept. 18. Age 59. Wife of Robert Lieberman for 35 years. Mother of Mike and Jill Lieberman. Sister of Edward W. Abramowitz. Daughter-in-law of Renee Lieberman. Niece of Edna and Bill Popoff. Cousin of Josh and Leslie Popoff. Services were held at the Hills of Eternity Cemetery Chapel, Colma, under the direction of Sinai Memorial Chapel. Tregob, Lilyan In Menlo Park, July 31. Age 93. Born July 17, 1910. Resident of Glenwood Inn, Menlo Park. Member of Hadassah and Congregation Beth Am. Cleveland native. World traveler. Attended Columbia University and studied acting with Madame Maria Ouspenskaya. In the late 1930s, she joined a newly formed American acting troupe. Worked at a weekly tourist magazine in Mexico City called Esta Semana (This Week). Befriended magazine's publisher Emma Hurtado, an art dealer and the last wife of Diego Rivera. Returned to Cleveland during World War II, lecturing on Mexican society and culture. Moved to California in 1993.
