Sen. Barbara Boxer, the Rev. Alan Jones of Grace Cathedral and Israeli Consul General Yossi Amrani are among the featuring participants in “Bible by the Bay,” a program celebrating the Bible’s multicultural heritage from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center in San Rafael.
Workshops with Rabbis Mark Levy, Alan Lew and Daniel Kohn and many more will take place from 1 to 5 p.m., with a children’s fair available during the same time frame. An evening program will follow, including speakers reading a favorite Bible passage and musicians offering up “The Bible in Song.”
