Peninsula JCC turns 40, gets a new home
The Peninsula Jewish Community Center celebrates 40 years and its move from Belmont to Foster City with a Shabbat Shalom Shehechiyanu on Aug. 22 at its current Belmont site, in which (below, from left) Rhonda Press and Cantor Ellen Schwab sing "Shehechiyanu" and "L'chi Lach." At right, Rabbi Marvin
Goodman addresses the crowd. During the program Don Williams (far right), vice president of the JCC board of directors, gives a construction update on the new site, and (bottom right) JCC counselors say their goodbyes to the Belmont site.
