Berkeley mohel’s teen son hit by truck

by On Aug.15, Daniel Feld of Berkeley was hit by a truck on the corner of Shattuck and Vine. Despite the truck's rear wheel running, Feld is the son of Jody and Chanan Feld, who works as a mohel.

Feld's condition is being monitored on the Web at http://www.chabad berkeley.org/daniel/update.html where in addition to updates about his condition -- he is still in a lot of pain but welcomes visitors -- there are photos and an audio clip of Feld himself telling what happened.

"Please keep davening for Daniel," Feld's mother wrote on the Web site, thanking Berkeley's Jewish community for their prayers and visits. "I know that all your prayers and love have helped Daniel heal in the miraculous way he already has. Your continued tephilot [prayers] combined with hashem's miracles will lead to more good news."
