Palestinians dwelling in Iraq paying the price of a fallen regime

The Palestinian community is regarded by Iraqi opposition leaders as some of the most faithful followers of Saddam Hussein.
There are more than 40,000 Palestinians living in Iraq.
Before the recent Gulf War, the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion asked 1,085 Palestinian adults if they agree that 'Palestinians ought to support Iraq as they did in 1991, if the United States of America strikes it again.'
Slightly more than 70 percent of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip said they would support Iraq if it were attacked by the United States, according to the poll.
