The celebration was co-sponsored by the Third Baptist Church and Back on Track. The Isaiah Project is run by the Jewish Community Relations Council as an African-American and Jewish alliance for social justice and collaboration. It is funded by the Helen and Sanford Diller Supporting Foundation, the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund and the Walter and Elise Haas Fund.
