Other highlights include the 2001 Israeli Academy Award Winner "Late Marriage," a love story about Soviet emigres in Israel and a Moroccan Jewish divorcee, which screens 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 and 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, and "Kadosh," which focuses on the marriage issues of two sisters living in the fervently religious Mea Shearim section of Jerusalem. "Kadosh screens one time only at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
Two films, "As if Nothing Happened" and "Street Under Fire," deal with modern Israeli life, the military and the violence of the intifada. They will have a joint screening at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
