Remembering : S.F. congregations gather for Sept. 11 memorial

"They were joined at the bimah by Rabbi Sydney Mintz (below, center), who emceed the event, flanked by Rabbis Helen Cohn and Martin Weiner. Also participating were Rabbi Peretz Wolf-Prusan and Rabbi Doug Kahn, executive director of the JCRC.
Each rabbi shared a prayer, an observation or, in the case of Weiner of Sherith Israel, an eyewitness account of seeing the World Trade Center towers collapse.
