Moments of silence
In conjunction with Friday’s national moment of silence to remember the victims of America’s terrorist attacks, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, Pacific Central West Region organized an ecumenical prayer session in downtown San Francisco. In the top photo, participants who joined the crowd of more than 50 are (from left) Barbara Moad, Debra Sagan and Rabbi Michael Berk. Later that day, in the photo at right, a group stops on St. Mary’s Road in Moraga to hold a candlelight vigil.
