JERUSALEM (JTA) -- An Israeli soldier who refused to brief students in Gilo on how to respond to a shooting attack was sentenced to 28 days in military prison.

The soldier said she could not fulfill the assignment because she had not undergone appropriate training. Family members were quoted as saying the soldier only specialized in nature instruction.

Vivendi earns the bid to quench Israeli thirst
