He explained that the merger phenomenon is a result of "crises in the areas of offerings, high-tech and real estate, which made law firms recognize the need" to expand.
Balter, Guth, Aloni, & Co. remained the largest firm with 66 lawyers, compared to 61 last year. The ranking is based on the number of employees, partners and interns, as well as the percentage growth in the number of attorneys. Profits and professional reputation are not considered.
