British Airways keeps regular flight schedule to Israel

by JERUSALEM (JPS) -- British Airways -- one of the few airlines that flies to Israel that did not reduce its schedule in the wake, Speaking at a Tel Aviv news conference to inaugurate new offices, Colin Marshall said BA intends to maintain its present service

Nira Dror, a BA regional director, said that the company has a long-term strategy concerning Israel: Although there were fewer passengers overall, the airline had actually increased its market share, especially among business passengers, as a result of keeping a full schedule.

Alex Rabino, head of BA in Israel, added that during the past two weeks there has actually been an increase in the number of passengers.
