“They Array Themselves with Gorgeous Words: What Makes a Book Jewish?” will be the subject of a panel discussion at 12:30 a.m.
Panelists will include Susanne Batzdorff, head librarian of Celia Gurevitch Jewish Library in Santa Rosa; Ellen Brosbe, family educator at S.F.-based Bureau of Jewish Education; Jonah Raskin, communications studies department chair at Sonoma State University; Rabbi Leah Sudran, spiritual leader of Congregation B’nai Israel in Petaluma; and Marianne Ware, creative writing instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College. Moderator will be Anne Goldman, professor of 19th- and 20th-century literature at SSU.
Zara Gardner will lead story telling for children beginning at 12:15 p.m.
